Turquoise Magnesite, Quartz Crystal & Balsa Wood Mala
by Silver and Sage Jewelry
What is a Mala?
A mala is a set of beads, traditionally used to focus and center oneself during meditation. Each bead may represent a mantra, prayer or intention.
Silver & Sage malas are made with 108 beads or 216 beads (in the case of mini malas). The single bead at the bottom is often referred to as the “guru”(teacher).
Whether you have a meditation practice or not, enjoy wearing your Silver & Sage mala. May it bring you a sense of peace and grounding in every aspect of your daily life.
Thought to promote peace, love and relaxation, turquoise magnesite is combined with white balsa wood, quartz crystal and a bright purple tassel. Mala is strung on stretch cord, allowing one to wear it as a necklace or multi-wrap bracelet.
- Strung on latex-free stretch cord
- Beatuiful worn as a necklace, or a multi wrap bracelet
- 108 beads, not including wood spacers
- 20″ Length
Since 2011, Silver and Sage has created simple, natural and beautiful jewelry designs. From handmade bracelets and lightweight earrings to intricate necklaces and meaningful malas. Silver and Sage offers individuals a wearable reflection of their own spirit and a reminder of their own life’s journey.
Founder & lead designer, Logan Mauldin Milliken, began her love of design at a young age, as she spent her childhood accompanying her mother on jewelry buying trips around the world.
Silver & Sage grew from these creative roots, allowing Logan to blend her passions for yoga, nature & travel. Having built life-long friendships on her childhood journeys, Logan continues to work with some of the same families of silversmiths she has known for over 25 years.
Using natural stones, handmade silver charms & accents of pearl, crystal, leather and wood, each design is hand-crafted in Scottsdale, Arizona. The balance of symbolism with naturally inspired elements invites women and men of all ages to connect with Silver & Sage, making each design much more than an accessory, but a reflection of their own story.
Silver & Sage jewelry can be found in yoga studios and boutiques around the US and at silverandsagejewelry.com
