The new Epiphany Hotel, right next door to Facebook’s first HQ, is one of only two hotels to open downtown in more than a decade–and it just got a tech-savvy build-out that nods to the history of invention.
For starters, the lobby features a light installation made with Edison-style bulbs and an “incubator” networking area designed by local think tank Ideo. There are also coworking spaces throughout the hotel, designed to promote brainstorming and collaboration. Heck, there’s even a dedicated technology concierge for that pesky HDMI hookup that just won’t work.
Book a room because it doesn’t get much more Silicon Valley than luxuriating in Frette sheets while streaming movies using your in-room G-Link dock.
Rooms start at $269 per night. 180 Hamilton Ave., Palo Alto; 650-666-3311 or jdvhotels.com
